William Frank Zotter

August 24, 1927 — April 16, 2024

William Frank Zotter, 96, of Whitehall passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Erna (Blankowitsch) Zotter. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Theresa (Panner) Zotter. William proudly served his country in the Army during WWII. He worked over 40 years in the Template Shop and later as a Shop Foreman for Lehigh Structural Steel in Allentown. He served for many years as an officer of the former Gellert Lodge at the Harugari Home Association. William was an avid hunter and fisherman indulging in either, or both, every day if he was able. He also liked our many family gatherings, Penn State football and Phillies games, dances and events at the many local clubs and churches, especially if they were outdoor in the summer. William was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Allentown.

He is survived by his son: Daniel Zotter, and his wife Ellen of Vestal, NY; his 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; and his daughter in law: Audrey Zotter. He is preceded in death by his son: Jay; and his brothers: Rudolph, Walter and Edwin.
