William S. Walker, 91, of Green Lane, died January 23, 2010. He was the husband of the late Winifred (Haring) Walker. Born in Perkiomenville, he was a son of the late Henry and Louise (Scholl) Walker. He and his wife were co-owners of the former Bill’s Auto Service, Perkiomenville in the 50’s and 60’s. He was a member of Peace in Zion United Church of Christ. He was a member of the Perkiomen Lodge #595, F&AM, Red Hill; a life member of the Owl’s Nest , East Greenville; and a member of the Green Lane Fire Company. Surviving: are daughters, Nancy Blackner, of Johnstown, PA; and F. Elizabeth Hunsberger, of Green Lane; 7 grandchildren, including William, and his wife Wanda, of Green Lane; and John, and his wife, Michelle, of Applebachsville; and 13 great-grandchildren, including Travis, Jessica, Sarah, Amanda, and Austin Hunsberger, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by siblings, Jonas, Harvey, Mahlon, Fritz, Florence, Elizabeth, Elsie, and Dorothy. Services will be at 11 AM on Wednesday at Peace In Zion UCC, 204 Route 73, Zieglerville. A viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 AM, with a Masonic Service at 10:30 AM, all at the church. Interment will follow at Limerick Garden of Memories.
