William Stephens

William I. Stephens William I. Stephens, 74, of the Village of Huffs Church, Barto, died Tuesday, April 10, 2007, in his home. Born in Media, PA, he was a son of the late Edgar T. and Mary (Moyer) Stephens. He was a graduate of Haverford High School and the Philadelphia College of Art. After graduation, he taught classes at the Philadelphia College of Art until joining the Army. After his discharge from the Army, he worked for Knoll International in East Greenville as a furniture designer and V.P. of Design and Development. He then formed his own furniture design company, Bill Stephens Inc, until retiring in 1996. Surviving are 2 daughters: Moira Stephens, of Souderton; and Meghan Gorman, of Telford; and 3 grandchildren. Memorial Services will be on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. Inurnment will follow at Sellersville Cemetery.
