William Schilling

William Harold Schilling, 74, formerly of Markley Road, Pennsburg, died January 29, 2008 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Quakertown. He was the beloved husband of the late Shirley (Soccer) Schilling who died in 2004. Born in Centralia, PA, he was son of the late Harold and Sara (Daley) Schilling. Mr. Schilling was a science teacher at North Penn High School for over 30 years retiring in 1993. He was an army veteran serving in the Korean War. He loved his family including his dog, Hugo. He enthusiastically followed his granddaughter, CoCo’s tennis career. He was also a fervent antique collector who loved treasure hunting at the Perkiomen Sale. Survivors: Daughter, Donna Lee Schilling-Minott and husband Patrick, of Florida; granddaughter, CoCo Minott of Florida; and nephew, John Dizio, and his wife Lisa, of Palm, PA.
