William Lavin

William A. Lavin, 58, of Pennsburg, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Aylward) Lavin. They would have celebrated 35 years of marriage in October. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Florence (Hamilton) and Dr. Robert Lavin. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pennsburg. He held an MBA from DeSales University and was the Chief Technology Officer / Vice President for Prudential. Because of his work, he and his wife lived in Japan for the last 4 ½ years. Surviving with his wife are his son, James and his wife Jennifer; and his daughter Julie, and her husband Devyn Kerr, both of Pennsburg; his grandchildren, Shannon Horbonis and Jackson Lavin; his siblings: Paul (Lois) of Narberth, Dr. Linda Lavin (Dr. Norbert Leska) of Conshohocken, Judy (Daniel) Polinski of Sayre, PA, Mark (Stephanie) of Virginia Beach, VA, Janet (Daniel) Carr of Newtown Square, PA, Stephen (Jane) of Apex, NC, Kenneth (Kimberley) of Emmaus, Florence (Jeffrey) Hall of Sumneytown, and Robert (Janet) of Macungie. A viewing will be held from 9 – 11 AM followed by a Funeral Mass on Tuesday at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd, Pennsburg, PA 18073. Interment will be held privately.
