William “Bill” J. Kotsch Jr., 81, of Coopersburg, passed away on June 14, 2022 after a month long battle with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late William J. and Mary (Chernaga) Kotsch. After graduating from William Allen High School in 1959, Bill joined in the Army and proudly served in the 82nd Airborne Division. He later worked for PP&L for 40+ years as a Draftsman Checker in the Engineering Department. Bill was a great athlete, who loved playing baseball as well as tennis at Jordan Park and Southern Lehigh High School. He also enjoyed biking and gardening, which included his fruit trees. Another hobby of his was metal detecting in Ocean City, NJ, and Ft. Lauderdale Fl. Surviving is his loving companion of over 44 years: Jackie Gregg; his sister: Nancy Knauth and her husband Paul, of Gilbert, AZ; and his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister: Lois Innes. The family would like to thank the nurses of 2K South at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest for taking such good care of Bill in his final days.
