William Durborow

March 30, 1948 — November 21, 2011

William E. Durborow, 63, of Old Bethlehem Road, Quakertown, died November 21, 2011. He was the loving husband of Carol Ross-Durborow. Born in Doylestown, he was a son of Rosealeen (Thompson) Durborow, of Souderton, and the late William Durborow. William was a graduate of Farleigh Dickenson University, where he received a full scholoraship for Track and Field. He was a self-employed Artist Manager in the music industry. He enjoyed cooking and antiques. He was an avid history buff, especially things related to the Civil War and WWII. He wrote short stories and was working on a novel. He was an annual volunteer for the Midway Fire Company Carnival and was an active volunteer firefighter for the Springtown Fire Company. Surviving with his wife and mother, are children: Billy and Sarah Durborow; Step-sons: Jeffrey Ross, and his wife, Diane, of Whitehall; and Mathew Ross, and his wife, Margie, of Norwood, NJ; Siblings: Bob Durborow, and his wife, Nancy, of Budd Lake, NJ; Tom Durborow, and his wife, Janet, of Manahawken, NJ; Michael Durborow, and his wife, Ann, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ; and Kathy, wife of Tom Arnold, of Perkasie; 3 grandchildren: Allison, Julianna, and Courtney Ross; nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday December 18, 2011 from 2-4:30 PM at the Springtown Fire Company, 3010 Route 212, Springtown, PA, 18081. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Hellertown, is in charge of arrangements. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Spring town Fire Co., OR to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation OR to the American Heart Assn.
