William Conway

William H. Conway, 84, of Pennsburg, passed away on April 23, 2010 at Pennsburg Manor. He and his wife, Arlene M. (Nace) Conway, would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on May 8, 2010. Born in East Greenville, he was a son of the late Archie and Mammie (Seibert) Conway. He was employed by the former Firestone Tire Co, in Pottstown for 35 years, retiring in 1980. He served as a staff sergeant in the Army during WWII as a Gunner in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of both the V.F.W., Post #5954, Red Hill, and the American Legion, Post #184, Palm. Surviving with his wife, is a daughter, Joan, wife of Kenneth Gosnell, of Gulfport, MS; and a son, Bill Conway, a sister, Joyce Sine, and a brother, Ray Conway, all of Red Hill. He was pre-deceased by sisters, Marian and Doris. Services will be private. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
