William “Bill” Cadieux, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 11th, 2023. Born in Jewett City, CT, he was a son of the late William and Genevieve (Pretzakofski) Cadieux. He served his country honorably in the Army during the Vietnam War era serving in Korea and Germany. Following his service, he worked as a printer for the former Priestly Printers in Philadelphia for 34 years before retiring.
Bill is survived by his daughters: Marianne Vigio and her husband Jesus of Green Lane, Danielle Duclos and Joseph Kelly of Abington; and his grandchildren: Ashley Cadieux of Clinton, CT, Wesley Vigio of Allentown, Tessalynn Cadieux of Langhorne and Jarrett and Jake Kelly of Abington. Along with his parents and his brother Robert, he was predeceased by Daughter Joann; and his ex-wife, Janice.
Bill, affectionately called Not Da Mamma by his daughters and their friends, was an avid NASCAR, Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and Wings fan. He would often attend Wings games with his daughters and always enjoyed the time with family. He loved going for long drives and was always quick to point out an eagle in the sky. He loved music especially The Phantom of the Opera and Queen.
Services will be on September 29th at 1pm at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA with full military honors. All are welcome to pay last respects.
