Wade Johnson, Sr.

Wade E. Johnson, 61, of Mountain Drive, Macungie, died April 28, 2009. He was the husband of Audrey “Pat” (Pursell) Johnson who were married 35 years last July. Born in Brownsville, PA, he was a son of the late Clark and Sarah (Johnson) Johnson. As a young man, Wade served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy. Later in his life he worked as a truck driver for Venezia Trucking out of Limerick, PA until retiring in 2008 due to illness. Survivors: Wife; sons: Joseph and Wade Jr.; brothers: Ted and Jerry; two grandchildren: Brandon and Chelsea, one great-granddaughter and stepfather: Rudolph Malensky; Services: Services will be held on Friday, May 1 at 11 AM at Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg.
