Viginia Mcgovern

Virginia "Ginny" McGovern, 83, of Bethlehem, died May 31, 2012. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Josephine (Green) Bevlin, of Bethlehem, and the late Carl Bevlin. After graduating from Liberty High School in 1948, Virginia was employed in various jobs in accounting. In later years she enjoyed working as a home health aide. She enjoyed playing cards and shopping. She was an avid animal lover, and especially enjoyed being with her family. Surviving: Mother; daughters: Gingerlou, wife of Paul Saylor, of Bethlehem; and Kathleen McGovern, and her boyfriend, Terry, of Hellertown; grandchildren: Paul Saylor III, and his wife, Ellen; and Samantha, wife of Basil Breininger; great-grandchildren: Haylee and Brayden Saylor; and her former husband, Thomas McGovern, and his wife Ruth, of Zephyr Hills, FL. Graveside services will be private. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Hellertown, is entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the animal charity of your choice.
