Verna Weidner

Verna (Schultz) Weidner, 87, widow of Louis Weidner Sr., died October 9, 2007 at LifeQuest Nursing Center, Quakertown. Born in Upper Hanover Township, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Mary (Trollinger) Schultz. She was the valedictorian for the class of 1937, East Greenville High School and was raised in the Palm Schwenkfelder Church. She was a sewing machine operator for the former Jennifer Ann Co., Red Hill for several years. Surviving children are: Marjorie, wife of E. Olin Mastin, of Hereford; Louis Weidner, Jr. of Middlebury, IN, David Weidner of Ireland, and Beatrice Linso of Philadelphia; 2 granddaughters, Sharon Mastin and Christine Mastin; and 3 great-grandchildren, Andrew, Emily, and Kiva. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Freida Spohn. Services will be at 1 PM on Friday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. A viewing will from 12-1 PM on Friday. Interment will be in the Palm Schwenkfelder Cemetery.
