Verna D. Schultz, 98, of Frederick Living and formerly of Pennsburg, died November 3, 2011. She was the wife of the late Raymond R. Schultz who died in 1974. Born in East Greenville, she was a daughter of the late William and Carrie (Miller) Shofer. She was a sewing machine operator at the former Rosenau Bros., in Red Hill. Verna was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Pennsburg and a former member of Ebenezer E.C. Church, East Greenville, where she also taught Sunday School. Verna is survived by two sons, Alvin and his wife Sharon of State College, and William and his wife Rebekah of Nazareth; a sister Thelma Herbert of Topton; and grandchildren, Valerie, Kathy, Emily, and Adam. She was predeceased by siblings: Arthur, Paul, Catherine, Hilda, Celia, Amy, and Orpha. Services: 11 a.m., Thursday, Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main St., Pennsburg. Call at the funeral home from 10 - 11 a.m.. Interment will follow in St. Mark's Cemetery.
