Velva Mae Warsing

Velva Mae Warsing, 86 of Allentown entered heavens gates on May 18th, 2022. Velva was predeceased by her loving husband of 69 years, William Warsing Sr. She was also predeceased by her son Thomas Richard Warsing, her parents Jobe and Nina Hess, her brother Wilbur Hess and sister Maxine Mellott. Velva is survived by her daughters Donna R Leeper (Randy), Sharon K Remmel (Danny), son William Warsing Jr., brother Herbert Hess and sister Quetta Walls. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She started her career as a seamstress at The Stanley Co. in Chambersburg. She took time off to be a loving mother and homemaker to raise 4 children. When she felt the desire to work outside of her home, she became a rental agent at the Regency high rise apartments in Allentown. Also she felt a calling to be a nurse’s aide at the Phoebe Nursing Home until she retired. She was a faithful member of the Nazarene Church in Allentown where she served in many capacities near and far. Even when she retired and went to Arizona for the winters, she spent many hours serving at her church there. A true good and faithful servant. She loved her family dearly. We do not say goodbye but until we meet again in Heaven. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 4th at 9 – 11:30 a.m. Brookside Community Church, Macungie, PA.
