Valerie Kruzick

Valerie J. (Hansen) Kruzick, 55, of Albrightsville, and formerly of Perkiomenville, died peacefully with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of David R. Kruzick, Sr. Born in Copiague, NY, she was the daughter of the late Hugo Hansen and Marilyn (Cook) Soprano. She attended Cherry Hill High School East (1976) and received her associates in Nursing from Montgomery County Community College. She was a Technician & RN at Lehigh Valley Hospital for 13 years before her illness. Her family, especially her children and grandchildren were her life. Valerie dedicated her life to serving and helping others as she touched many souls. She loved to play bingo and the slot machines. She enjoyed working in the garden, knitting and reading. She also had a love for the outdoors, fishing and nature. Along with her husband, she is survived by her children: Danielle Kruzick of Philadelphia and David R. Kruzick Jr. and his wife April Lee of Perkiomenville; her stepfather: Larry Soprano of Cherry Hill, NJ; grandchildren: Kimber Lee and Anthony Jacob; siblings: Hugo Hansen (Sue) of Wilmington, NC, David Hansen (Kim) and Larry Hansen (Aimee) both of Cherry Hill, NJ, Steven Soprano (Kim) and Sharon Soprano both of Medford, NJ. A memorial service will be Thursday, October 24, 2013, 10:30 AM at Trattoria 903, 874 State Rte 903, Jim Thorpe PA 18229.
