It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tracy Lee James, age 66, formerly of Perkasie, Pennsylvania, on June 2, 2026. Tracy was born on August 25, 1959, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, to the late Carl and Jacqueline (Jones) Lare. She was the loving wife of Bill James, her high school sweetheart, sharing 42 years of marriage. 

Tracy dedicated her life to shaping the futures of countless students as a guidance counselor at Upper Perkiomen Middle School for over 40 years. Her commitment to education was evident in her pursuit of knowledge, earning her associates degree from Montgomery County Community College, followed by both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Penn State University. 

In her free time, Tracy enjoyed spending time with her family and her many friends at the Sellersville Moose.Tracy was an avid soccer fan after countless years of supporting her children's passion. She had also become a follower of the English Premier League and international competition.

Before Covid, Tracy was an active participant at Ridge Valley United Church of Christ as an Elder and two-time Consistory President.

After retirement, Tracy and Bill travelled quite a bit both cruising and visiting Caribbean islands. 

Along with her husband, Tracy is survived by her sons, Bill James and his wife Courtney, and Brian James; her grandchildren, Liam, Christian, and Claire; and her sister, Dr. Kristine Lare-Knappenberger, wife of Rev. Dr. Paul Knappenberger.

A celebration of Tracy's life will be held at a later date at the convenience of her family.
