Tobias Witman, Jr.

Tobias Joseph Witman, Jr., 85, of Danielsville, died Thursday, March 18, 2010, in his home. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Strohl) Witman. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Tobias J. and Helen (Eck) Witman, Sr. He worked for over 37 years at the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. retiring in 1987. He was a former member of the Schnecksville Fire Company. SURVIVORS: wife; daughters: Debbie, wife of Michael Buser, of Trexlertown; Nancy, wife of David MacLachlan, of Coplay; Gail, fiancée of Rudy Laws of Northampton; Brenda, wife of Timothy Shelly, of Palm; sons, Dennis and David, both of Washington; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Phillips of Allentown, and Lucille Witman of Whitehall; and nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a daughter, Cynthia; a son, Tobias III; and siblings Joseph, Dorothy, Eleanor, and Catherine.
