Thomas P. Paquette, 55, of Manheim PA, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, May 19, 2013 unexpectedly after a brief illness. He was born in Manchester, NH on March 18, 1958 and was the son of the late Rene J. and Mary C. Paquette of NH. Tom graduated from Trinity High School in Manchester in 1976. After relocating to Southern New Jersey 1983, Tom began his career as a commercial tire salesman. In 1992 the family settled in Manheim. He was affectionately known throughout the region as “Tommy the Tire Man”. He was active in his community as a soccer coach, Cub Scout leader, and umpire. He also frequently volunteered his time to organizations his children were a part of. He was known for his carefree attitude and loved spending time with his friends and family telling stories. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Linda, sons Tyler, Aaron, and Devin, and daughter Arika. He is also survived by his sister, Catherine Aronson and brother Steven Paquette. He was preceded in death by brothers Kenneth and Robert Paquette. An informal memorial party will be held in his honor from 1-4PM Saturday, May 25 at the Cats Meow, 215 S. Charlotte St, Manheim, PA 17545. In lieu of flowers, Tom’s family ask that donations be made in his honor to Manheim Hearts-n-Hands Sertoma at 934 May Road, Lititz, PA, 17543.
