Thomas Mccormick

Thomas R. McCormick, 67, of Gregory Place, Hellertown, Pennsylvania, died January 3, 2010 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s. He was the loving husband of Barbara (McQuillan) McCormick for over 40 years. Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Raymond and Muriel (Walsh) McCormick. He attended the Good Shepherd School, Manhattan Prep, and Manhattan College, where he made friendships that lasted his lifetime. He was a parole officer for the State of New York for over 30 years before retiring, having been cited for meritorious service. He formerly resided in New Fairfield, Connecticut, where he raised his family and served as a volunteer with the Boy Scouts. Family and friends were most important to Tom. He loved to read, travel, hike, and play cards. He will be greatly missed. Survivors: Tom will be lovingly remembered by his caring wife; son Thomas, and his wife Allison, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; son Brian of Brooklyn, New York; grandchildren Tommy, Millie, and Teddy; brother Raymond, and his wife Margaret, of Melbourne, Florida; and cousin Jeanne of New Canaan, Connecticut.
