Thomas Kolesnik

Thomas S. Kolesnik, 84, of Hellertown, died February 29, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Margaret M. (Holva) Kolesnik. They would have celebrated 60 years of marriage in September. He served his country honorably in the Navy. Following his service, he worked as a counterman at Fromm Electric in Bethlehem for over 30 years until retiring in 1990. He was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church in Hellertown. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather. His daughter Marie lovingly took care of him for the last 20 years. Survivors: Son, Thomas J. and his wife Bonnie of Bethlehem Twp; daughter, Marie E., wife of Jerry Fedorowicz of Bethlehem; son James D. and his wife Dawn of Bethlehem Twp; son, Michael S. and his wife Mary of Hellertown; daughter, Joyce E. Kolesnik and her fiance John E. Sherer III of Allentown; son, Joseph F. and his companion Christine of Hellertown; sister, Ann Marie, wife of Jack Contakes of Bethlehem Twp; brother Samuel and his wife Jane of NY; 24 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and his faithful dog Buddy. He was predeceased by a brother James; a sister Arlene; and a granddaughter, Jolene. Services: 10 a.m., Saturday, March 3, at St. Theresa Catholic Church.
