Thomas W. Hallman Sr. 91, of Washington Street, East Greenville, died February 14, 2011 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of the late Ruth J. (Grim) Hallman. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He was a machinist at the Red Hill Grinding Co. for 25 years before retiring in 2002. Prior to that, he was employed at the former Parco Products Co, Pennsburg. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Pennsburg. He was also a member of the American Legion, Post # 184, Palm; the East Greenville Fire Company; and the Upper Perkiomen Senior Citizens Center. Surviving; son, Thomas Jr, of East Greenville; daughters, Kay Ann Hallman, of Macungie; and Diane, wife of Ronald Engle, of Pennsburg; 3 grandchildren: Troy, Daryl, and Stephanie; 3 great-grandchildren: Conner, Ellen, and Logan; and a sister, Grace Bloch, of Whitehall. He was pre-deceased by siblings: George, Charles, Laura, Thelma, and 4 infants. Services: Thursday at 11 AM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. A viewing will be from 10-11 AM on Thursday. Interment will follow at New Goshenhoppen Cemetery, East Greenville. Contributions: May be made in his memory to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 81 N.
