Theresa Rose Brooks

Theresa Rose Brooks, 81, of Pennsburg, passed away July 28, 2019. She was the widow of Kevin P. Brooks. Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Eleanor (Burnett) Towey. Theresa received a BFA in Fashion Design from Moore College of Art, and a Master of Library Science from Drexel University. She was a librarian at the Free Library of Philadelphia for over 20 years before retiring. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg. Surviving are children: Kevin, and his wife, Jil, of Bristol; Edward, of New Britain; Steven, of Gettysburg; Bernard, and his wife, Brooke, of Philadelphia; Geralyn, wife of Mark Polsky of Pennsburg; and Michele, of Red Hill; siblings: Renee McDermott, of Florida; Eleanor Vogel, of Gettysburg; and Bernadette Towey, of Pennsylvania; and grandchildren: Rachel, Ayden, and Benjamin. She was pre-deceased by a granddaughter, Elizabeth. A Memorial Mass will be at noon on Saturday, August 3rd at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg. Friends may gather from 10 AM until noon at church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the CHOP Foundation, P.O.
