Theodore Portz

Theodore A. Portz, 57, of Allentown, passed away November 9, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Stefin) Portz. Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of the late Albert and Gertrude (Russell) Portz. Ted was a member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity. He worked at Windkits, Allentown before becoming disabled. He was a Navy veteran, Surviving with his wife, are children: John Hrinda Jr, of Lancaster County; Frank Hrinda, and his wife, Melanie, of Lehighton; Michael Hrinda, of Allentown; Raymond Rought, and his wife Connie, of Nazareth; and Maria, wife of George Zettlemoyer, Allentown; 4 step-grandchildren: Christopher, Andrew, Cecelia, and Mya; and 2 great-granddaughters. He was pre-deceased by siblings: Mildre and Allen Russell, and Kenneth Portz. Services will be private. The Falk Funeral Home, Hellertown, is in charge of arrangements.
