Thelma Johnson

Thelma Ann (Scholl) Johnson, 80, of Hellertown, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2019. Born in Perkasie, PA, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Mildred (Souder) Scholl. She was predeceased by her husband, H. Walter Johnson. Thelma was a lifelong farmer, who took pride in her work. This included taking care of the chickens and the dairy cows. She worked at Moyer’s Chick Hatchery for over 40 years. Her biggest love in life was her family; to which she was very close with. Surviving are children: Wayne Johnson, and his Fiance Nancy; Roy Johnson, and his wife Deborah, all of Kintnersville; Siblings: John Scholl, and his wife Minnie, of Perkasie; Doris Lindmeier, and her husband Mike, of Perkasie; 8 loving grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; a sister in law: Ruth Johnson, of Coopersburg; and many nieces and nephews. A calling period will be held from 6-7:30 pm on Monday, June 3, followed by a memorial service at 7:30pm at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main Street Hellertown PA, 18055.
