Suzanne C. Reethof Bower

August 8, 1955 — September 30, 2015

Suzanne Carla Reethof Bower, 60, of Norristown, passed away peacefully at home on September 30, 2015 after a courageous battle. She was the beloved wife of Ricki Reethof Bower. Born in Cambridge, MA, she was the daughter of Evelyn Eliane (Morellet) Reethof. She served her country honorably as a nurse in the Army serving in Bosnia from November of 1997 to July of 1998 and then in Iraq from January to December of 2003. Following her service, she worked as an ICU nurse in various hospitals and then in homecare hospice until 2013. She was a member of the Fairview Village Church in Eagleville, where she was an active volunteer and a member of Women of the Word. She was also a member of the Norristown Garden Club. She is survived by her husband; her mother; her daughter, Katrina Shao Evelyne Reethof Bower; her step sons: Dustin Allan Bower and Benjamin Thomas Bower; her brother, Alex Oscar Reethof and his wife, Lori; her sister, Erika Genvieve, wife of Brad Bubeck; and a niece; and three nephews. Services: A Celebration of Life Service with full military honors will be held at 11 AM, on October 10, at the Fairview Village Church, 3044 W. Germantown Pike, Eagleville, PA 19403. All are invited to gather at the church from 10 AM until the service begins. There will be a time of fellowship following the service.
