Susan Joy Dever

Susan (“Sue”) Joy (Mackafee) Dever, 65, of Quakertown, passed away August 11th, 2020. Born in Croydon, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Shaw) Mackafee. She was married to Dennis Dever, Sr. of Bensalem. Sue enjoyed collecting gemstones, watching the Phillies and the Fighting Irish, yearly trips to Musikfest, going on “Thelma and Louise” adventures with her best friend, and especially spending time with her children and grandson. Along with her husband, she is survived by her sons: Sean Dever, and his wife Joan of Horsham, and Dennis Dever, Jr. and his wife Susie of Alexandria, VA; a daughter: Bridget Dever of Hellertown; a grandson: Anderson; and her brother: Charles Mackafee and his wife Kathleen of Catawissa. Services will be held privately at a future date.
