Stephen Kospiah

Stephen Kospiah, 88, of Easton Road, Bethlehem, died November 9, 2008. He was the husband of Margaret (Piripavel) Kospiah. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Max and Anna (Simpson) Kospiah. He was a supervisor at the Coke Works Division of the former Bethlehem Steel Co. for over 30 years. He was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Church, Bethlehem. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed racing pigeons, gardening, hunting, fishing, and bowling. Surviving with his wife are children, Marjorie, wife of David Kapustic; and Stephen Kospiah, and his wife, Jan; a sister, Helen Petfield, all of Bethlehem; 2 grandchildren: Stephanie, wife of Bill Safranek; and Sarah, wife of Brett Biggs, and a great-grandchild,Hayden Safranek. He was pre-deceased by siblings: Samuel, Basil, Andrew, Anthony, John, Martha, Mary, and Jean. Services: Office of Christian Burial at Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Church, 1140 Johnston Drive, Bethlehem at 11 AM Thursday. A viewing will be from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main Street, Hellertown. Panachida will be at 10:15 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Josaphat Ukrainian Cemetery, Bethlehem. On-line condolences may be made at www.falkfuneralhomes.com.
