Stephen Sherwood Houck

Stephen S. Houck, 64, of Longswamp Township, Macungie passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 28th, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Shirley (Little) Houck. Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the Ruth (Lesher) Houck and the late Arnold Houck. Steve began his career as the parts manager for Erb & Henry Equipment in New Berlinville. Following that, he became the physical plant supervisor for the United Wesleyan College in Allentown. He then moved on to become a partner in E&H Services, a building maintenance and auto detailing business in Topton, PA. He retired in 1995. He and his wife were foster parents for Concern of Topton, PA. He was a member of the Fleetwood Bible Church.

Along with his wife Shirley and mother Ruth, he is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Houck of Macungie, and his son, Joshua Houck, and his wife Lindsay of Alburtis; his grandchildren: Isaac, Leah, and Nathaniel; and his sister Sherri-Jean Houck of New Jersey.

All are invited to a viewing from 1 – 2 PM with a celebration of his life at 2 PM on Saturday at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg, PA. Rev. Nathanael Naugle of Fleetwood Bible Church will officiate. He will be laid to rest in EC Bethany Church Cemetery in Barto, PA.
