Stephen Buck

Stephen H. Buck, 85, of Hellertown, died January 25, 2010 at the VNA Hospice House in Lower Saucon Township. He was the beloved husband of Pauline (Giandomenico) Buck. They celebrated 65 years of marriage in August. Born in Kintnersville, he was a son of the late Nicholas and May (Streepy) Buck. He was a heavy equipment operator for the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. for over 40 years until his retirement in 1984. He also worked for ShopRite Supermarket in Bethlehem for many years. Stephen was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church in Hellertown. Survivors: wife; son, Jeffrey of Hellertown, daughter, Carol, wife of John Horvath, of Bethlehem; grandson, Kevin; and brother, Anthony of Kintnersville. He was preceded in death by brother, Austin; sister, Mary; half-sister, Elizabeth; and half-brother, Joseph. Services: Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Easton Rd., Hellertown. Interment will follow in Hellertown Union Cemetery.
