Samuel Hoffman

Samuel Raymond Hoffman, 70, formerly of Mertztown, died Wednesday, August 1, 2007. Born in Boyertown, he was the son of the late Wayne and Annie Hoffman. Mr. Hoffman was of the Lutheran faith. During most of his life he worked at the Boyertown Casket Company until retiring. He was a member of the Mertztown Gun Club. He is survived by sons, John of York, and Michael of Palm; daughters, Rene Briel of Boyertown, Tammi Kidd of Zionsville, Lorie Seimes of East Greenville, Allison Hunter of Topton, Michelle Swink of Pittsburgh and Lisa Hoffman; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Charles of Hereford, Preston of East Greenville, Robert of Macungie and Earl of Alburtis; and sister, Edith, wife of Robert Rothrock of Macungie. Services will be held Saturday, August 4 at 11 AM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., Pennsburg. Friends may call on Saturday, from 10 AM until services.
