Ruth Toth

Ruth Meyers Toth, 95, of Lower Saucon Township, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2021. She was the widow of Frank G. Toth. Born in Souderton, she was a daughter of the late Rev.Claude and Mary (Wismer) Meyers. Ruth was a part of the body of Christ at Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church. She worked in a hosiery and shirt factory then later as a nanny and nurse's aide. She also served in inner city missions. Ruth enjoyed cooking, reading, sewing, singing, traveling after retirement, and above all spending time with her family. She loved God and lived a humble life serving and caring for the needs of others. She was a loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed. Surviving are children: Frank Toth, of West Leechburg, PA; Mary Ellen Fricke, of Allentown; and Cheryl Turtschanow, of Harrisburg; and Christine Gahman, of Bethlehem; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren: and siblings: David Meyers, and his wife, Maddie; Rachel, wife of John Smith, all of Arizona; William Meyers, and his wife, Dali, of Missouri and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Patrick Toth; and siblings, Esther Hackman, Sarah Hedrick, and Paul Meyers. A memorial service will be at 11 AM on Saturday, September 25th at the Saucon Community Church, 2190 Easton Road, Bethlehem. Friends may gather from 10 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, Ruth’s expressed wish is for you to make a contribution to your favorite missions organization.
