Ruth Nase

Ruth M. (Balliet) Nase, 92, widow of the late Laurence W. Nase, Jr., died at Rockhill Mennonite Community, Sellersville, PA. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Calvin and Meta (Northstein) Balliet of Lehighton, PA. Ruth was a retired, Registered Nurse who occasionally taught Red Cross classes. She was a member of Pennsburg United Church of Christ, the Perkiomen Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years, a charter member of the Upper Perkiomen Lioness Club, a member of the former Unami Court, Order of the Amaranth, the Women’s Republican Club, and the Upper Perkiomen Senior Center. She enjoyed her flower garden, traveling, reading, bowling, watching tennis, and needlepoint. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara, wife of Anthony Parestis, of Pennsburg, and Maxine, wife of Daniel Herbein, of Bethlehem; two granddaughters and two great grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 29 at 11am at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg, PA. Calling hours are from 10-11am.
