Roy Specht

Roy J. Specht, 69, of Dade City. FL, and formerly of Pennsburg, PA, passed peacefully on September 13, 2008. Roy was an employee at Merck, Sharp, and Dohme for over 30 years. He was a glad and willing participant in the Upper Perkiomen Jaycees and the East Greenville Fire Company. His family is comforted by knowing that he was able to fulfill his dreams of being able to live in Florida, hunt, fish, travel, and play golf. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Norma; his adoring children: Kelly, of Miami, FL; Perry, of Irmo, SC; and Kim, of Zionsville, PA; 8 grandchildren; a brother, Harold, of Gilbertsville; and a sister, Virginia, of Douglasville. A celebration of Roy’s life will be held Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Palm Schwenkfelder Church, 833 Gravel Pike, Palm, PA 18070. Friends may call on the 27th from 10AM until services at the church. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of local arrangements.
