Roger Grippon, 72, of Pennsburg, passed away August 11, 2013 at Grand View Hospital after a long vigil by his loving family and caring nurses. Born in Vichy, France, he was the 4th of 9 children to the late André and Irene Grippon. Roger immigrated to the United States from France via England, where he lived for 2 years. He worked as a shoe mold maker for several companies, before opening his own company, Eastern Mould, first in Zionsville, PA, and later moving it to New Hampshire, Florida, and Colorado. In 2000, he retired and returned to Pennsylvania. Roger loved his family, tennis, golf, soccer, and animals. He was a gentle man with a wonderful sense of humor. Surviving is his loving wife of 35 years, Nancy (Moyer) Grippon; children: Dominique Grippon, and his wife, Roxanne, of Denver, CO; Alan Grippon, of East Texas, PA; Isabelle, wife of Jason Werkheiser, of Fogelsville, PA; Tammy Williamson, of Covington, LA; Tiffany Wood, of Sebastopol, CA; and Stacey Wood, wife of Todd Slepian, of Emerson, NJ; 2 grandchildren: Andrew Grippon & Hannah Williamson; siblings: Edward, Marcel, Terese, Chatal, Françoise, Elizabet, and Phillippe, all of France; and his constant companion and pet dog, Buddy. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Aimee. A Memorial Service (Celebration of Life) will be at 8PM on Friday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg.
