Roberta Kaiser

Roberta Joan (George) (Howard) Kaiser, 85, of Coopersburg, passed away peacefully at Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Fountain Hill on June 18, 2015. She was the beloved wife of Ernest T. Kaiser. Born in Bethlehem on July 18, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Bessie George. She attended Liberty High School and graduated in 1947. She then went on to Kutztown College and received a teaching degree in 1951. She taught grade school and nursery school at Hope U.C.C., both in Allentown. Roberta was the proud owner of “Ginger Snips”, a craft store in Coopersburg where she combined her love of teaching and crafts to enrich the lives of many children through her weekly crafting classes. She was an active volunteer at Lehigh County Senior Citizen Center, where she integrated her penchant for crafting and love of teaching. While there, she was awarded the Good Samaritan Award for her work in the Friendship Circle Program. Survivors: Her husband; her son, Michael Howard and his wife, Lisa, of Harrisburg; her grandsons, Patrick and Christopher; step grandsons, Kyle and Kurt; her foster son Keith E. Miller, stepson Tom Howard; stepdaughter Constance Wagner and their families; and her extended family, Bob and Mary Yost, and many friends. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Leo J. Howard. Services: Memorial Services, 10 am, Saturday, St. John’s U.C.C., 538 Thomas St, Coopersburg, PA 18036 where all are invited to gather from 9 am until the service begins.
