Robert L. Weller

March 6, 1948 — July 10, 2023

Robert L. Weller Sr., 75, of Pottstown, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023, at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Eleanore (Hyneman) Weller. Born in Boyertown, he was a son of the late Caleb and Edna (Clouser) Weller. Robert served his country as a Marine during the Vietnam War. He was a self-employed mason during his working career. Robert was a member of the V.F.W., Post # 5954, Red Hill, the American Legion, the Hereford Gun Club, and several other social clubs in the area. He enjoyed spending time with his family, spoiling his grandkids, fishing, hunting, working in his garden, tinkering with projects in his shed and playing the lottery.

Surviving are children: Crystal Weller, of Birdsboro, Shannon, wife of Tim Weygandt, of Willards, MD, Robert Weller Jr, and his wife, Giovinna, of Pottstown, and Tara Weller, of Pottstown; grandchildren: Megan, Michael, Austin, and Ashley; a great-granddaughter: Brinley; and brothers: Arthur Weller, of New Berlinville and Harvey Weller, Sr, of Pottstown; and many nieces & nephews. He was pre-deceased by siblings: Joanna Smoyer, Charles Weller Sr., Betty Dawson, Gerald Weller, Ernest Weller and two infant siblings: Barbara Jean and Anna Mae.

A Celebration of Robert’s Life will be 11:00 am, Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the Hereford Gun Club, 91 Gunclub Rd, Barto, PA 19504. Military honors will be performed at 12:00 pm.
