Robert Transue

Robert L. Transue, 62, of Springtown Hill Rd, Hellertown, died March 5, 2010 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Pamela (Leith) Transue. They celebrated 27 years of marriage in October. Born in Ft. Hill, he was a son of Anna (Stahl) Transue of Hellertown and the late Leon William Transue. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam war. Following his time in the service, he and his family owned and operated Transue’s Used Cars and Auto Repair in Leithsville. He continued the business until his retirement 2003. He was a quiet man who loved the outdoors, his pets, cars, and his family. Survivors: wife; mother; a brother William; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters, Nancy and Patricia. Services: will be held privately. The Falk Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
