Robert Philip "Bob" Steich Jr.

Robert P. “Bob” Steich Jr., 76, of Quakertown passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Sarah S. (Cole) Steich. Born in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Robert and Doris (Cressman) Steich. Bob was a 1966 graduate of Quakertown High. He served his country honorably in the Navy for 27 years on submarines, retiring as a Fire Control Technician Senior Chief Petty Officer.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his son: Robert Phillip Steich, III, of Connecticut; his sisters: Doris L. and her husband, Howard "Buddy" Jones, of Quakertown, and Carole L. McLaughlin of Sellersville, whose husband Greg passed away in January, 2022. He had two brothers who predeceased him: Terry Lee Steich October, 2019, whose wife Patricia lives in Sellersville, and Thomas J. Steich December, 2020, whose wife Debbra lives in Florida. He is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews. With 2 more who had predeceased him. Plus 9 grand nieces and nephews. Bob had numerous aunts and uncles with only 1 surviving, Aunt Gloria Boyer. And numerous cousins.

Services for Bob will be held privately. He will be laid to rest in Washington Crossing National Cemetery with full military honors. Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pennsburg is in charge of his arrangements. Visit his “Book of Memories” at falkfuneralhomes.com.
