Robert M. Silvetz

August 24, 1937 — October 26, 2021

Robert Michael Silvetz, MD, 84, of Hickory Hill Road, Bethlehem, died October 26, 2021, on their 61st wedding anniversary, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna Fais Silvetz. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Bernard Silvetz and Theresa Poslan Silvetz. He served in the US Navy between 1957-1961. He met his beloved wife, in Bahrain, during his service and moved to Rome where he became Head Master of the American Overseas School of Rome and where he received his Medical Doctor of Science. He later moved to Nice, France as Head Master of the International School on the Cote D'Azur. After retirement, they lived their lives between their beloved homes in Bethlehem and Rome. He was also an avid horse lover and rider.

Proud father of son, Robert David Silvetz, MD, daughter, Kristina Silvetz and son, John Paolo Romano Silvetz, and grandfather to Blythe and Julian Silvetz.

Services: A Memorial Mass will be held at 11AM, November 1, 2021 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 417 Carlton Avenue, Bethlehem, PA 18015. There will be a time to gather beginning at 10AM.
