Robert James Schnecker

Robert J. Schnecker Sr., 100, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2021. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Edward and Wilma (Bardosi) Schnecker. In 1951 Robert married the late Gladys E. (Miller) Schnecker. He served in the 362nd Infantry during WWII. He was a Die Sinker machinist at Bethlehem Steel for 40 years before retiring in 1983. Pop enjoyed his retirement and spending time with his family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Surviving are his children: Robert Jr. and his wife Nancy, James and his wife Debbie, Barbara and her husband Douglas Alier, and John, all of Bethlehem; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers: Edward Jr. and Joseph. There will be a memorial service on Tuesday August 10, 2021, at 11AM at the Falk Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1418 Main St. Hellertown, PA 18055. A Calling will be from 10-11AM, with Interment taking place at Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to, Harry F.
