Robert Sassaman

Dr. Robert K. Sassaman, 92, formerly of Easton, died on March 22, 2013 in his home in Hellertown, PA. Born in Easton, he was the son of Dr. Harry Sassaman and Pauline Krauss Sassaman. He was graduated from Easton High School, class of 1938, attended Ohio University and the University of Pennsylvania Dental School graduating in 1943. Dr. Sassaman served in the Naval Dental Corps in World War II and then returned to Easton where he practiced dentistry until retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Lehigh Valley Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. Survivors: include his wife, the former Helen Carey; son Kirk and his wife Vicky of Hellertown,PA; son Eric and his wife LuAnn of Goshen, IN and five grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters, Dorothy Huff of Westchester, PA and Jane Fleck of Easton, PA.
