Robert Rosenberger

April 4, 1925 — March 4, 2011

Robert C. Rosenberger, 85, went to be with Jesus on March 4, 2011. Born in Line Lexington, he was the beloved son of the late Lloyd and Eva (Shup) Rosenberger. As a young child, he was a sensitive and caring person who loved the arts. He was skilled in drawing, leather work, and wood carving. He loved to fish and tie flys which he was proficient at doing. When he was 12 years old, he had a nervous breakdown and recovered enough to go back to school and receive his high school diploma at age 16. He became ill at that time and had to be admitted to Norristown State Hospital, where he has been all of these 70 years. His parents visited him every Saturday as long as they were able, and his brother, Lawrence Rosenberger, and sister, Fern Schwager, visited him regularly. The prayers of his parents, grandmother, Hannah Kline, and his siblings never ceased. Though he will be sadly missed, his family rejoices in knowing that he is in the loving arms of Jesus. "Our brother, Bob, has died, but has now just begun to live." Surviving: Brother, Lawrence, and his wife, Therese, of Schwenksville; sister, Fern Schwager, of Pennsburg; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services: Private. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 81 N. Main Street, Pennsburg, PA 18073. To offer on-line condolences, please visit www.falkfuneralhomes.com.
