Robert Quoos

Robert G. Quoos, 89, of Bethlehem, died September 16, 2011 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. He was the beloved husband of Bettie Jane (Reichley) Quoos. He was born in Nanticoke, PA and served his country honorably in the Army during WW II. He was employed by the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 30 years, retiring as a consulting engineer in 1980. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church Lower Saucon, and he was the head custodian there for several years before retiring in 2008. He was a sports enthusiast and he loved his schnauzer, "Baxter". Survivors: wife; sons, William Neith and his companion, Hilda Parsons of Bath, and Jack Neith and his wife Oleta of Shamong, NJ; and a son-in-law Luis Vazquez of Hellertown. He was predeceased by a daughter Peggy Vazquez, a son Bill Quoos; and siblings, Nelson and Arlene. Services: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Christ Lutheran Church Lower Saucon, 2190 Easton Rd, Bethlehem, PA.
