Robert Fisher

Robert Allen Fisher, 88, of Horsham, PA, died peacefully with his family at his side, on Sunday, August 14, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Sharon Lee (Scheffler) Fisher since March 20, 1971. Born in Glens Falls, NY, he was a son of the late William and Florence (Allen) Fisher. He served his country honorably in the Army during WW II. Robert was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and was memorialized as a racer at Daytona Beach. He worked as a National Sales Manager in the Telephone Division of ICC, Inc., in the Ft. Washington office for 25 years retiring in 1995. After retiring from sales, he worked in parts transportation for C & C Ford in Horsham for 10 years. He was a member of Jarrettown United Methodist Church, Dresher, PA. Surviving with his wife are sons Robert, Richard, and Thomas; daughters Judith Bennett and Pamela Hermann; sisters, Carolyn Saville and Marie Dunlap; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
