Robert Harrison Danner

Robert H. Danner, 102, formerly of Center Valley, passed away November 3, 2021. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Harry and Estella (Roth) Danner. Robert was the beloved husband to the late Paula (Hoak) Danner. Robert graduated from Allentown High School in 1937. He worked for Graybar Electric Co. for 35 years. He was a Navy veteran that served during WWII. He was a former member of the Moravian Church of Emmaus, where he was a director of the brass choir. He was also a musician and a leader of the Bob Danner’s German Band. He played with many area bands in the Lehigh Valley including the Allentown Marine band and the Bethlehem American Legion band. He is survived by Children Elanor Martin of Delaware and Robert Danner II of Allentown, Step-children Terry Constance of Florida and Carmela Warner of Maryland.
