Robert R. Buzby, 84, of East Greenville, died January 3, 2012. He was the husband of Charlene (Houssell) Buzby. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Granville and Florence (Thompson) Buzby. He was the Head of Maintenance at the former NW Controls, Harleysville before retiring in 1991. He served his country honorably as a trainer of paratroopers in the Marines during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion, Post #184, Palm; the Marine Corps League, the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge # 1622, Quakertown; the Owl's Nest #1302, East Greenville; and the East Greenville Fire Co. Surviving with his wife, are children: Pat Burk, of Hereford; David Buzby, of East Greenville; Sally, wife of Norman Wheeler, of Georgia; and Linda, wife of Edward Schollenberger, of Utah; Step-children: John Scott Kennedy, and his wife, Frances (Redman), of Quakertown; and Susan Lynn, wife of Joseph Roberts, of Coopersburg; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a half-sister, Isabelle Schneider, and a half-brother, William Schneider. Services will be private. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
