Robert Basak

Robert S. Basak, 87, of Bethlehem and formerly of California, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2017. He was the husband of the late Helen (Palinkas) Basak. Born in Hellertown, he was the son of the late Stephen and Vilma (Bush) Basak. He served his country honorably in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. Bob was a freelance grapic artist in California. Prior to moving to California, he was employed by the former Dixie Cup Company in Easton. Survivors: Cousins, Rita wife of Charles Bartolett of Bethlehem, Bernard Koloski and his wife Monique of Mansfield, PA, and Janice Murdza of Abingdon, MD; and nieces and nephews. Services: All are invited to a viewing from 8:30 to 9:30 AM on Tuesday at the Falk Funeral Home, 1418 Main St. Hellertown. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Hellertown. He will be interred at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem with Military Honors.
