Richard Snyder

Richard E. “Dick” Snyder, 61, of Hellertown, died March 29, 2007 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Ft. Hill. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Trexler) Snyder and the companion of Ann Wegener with whom he resided. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Edward and Erma (Oswald) Snyder. He was a carpenter and rigger for the former Bethlehem Steel in Bethlehem for 30 years until his retirement in 1996. He was a member of the Hellertown Democratic Club. Survivors: Companion Ann; Son Michael and his wife Ann Snyder of Germansville; daughter Jennifer Evett of Bethlehem; and sister Barbara wife of Edward Thomas of Bethlehem. He was preceded in death by a sister Shirley Reaser. Services: A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, April 2, at 6 P.M., at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Hellertown. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in his memory to the TheSmileTrain 245 Fifth Ave., Suite 2201, New York, NY 10016.
