Richard P. Schuler Sr., 86, of Lakeview Terrace, Pennsburg, died May 30, 2011 at home. He was the husband of Pauline (Peterson) Schuler. They were married 64 years this past March. Born in Hosensack, he was a son of the late Russell and Bessie (Moll) Schuler. He was a masonry contractor from 1960 until 1974. He also was employed at SOS Products, East Greenville for over 25 years. He was a member of New Goshenhoppen UCC, East Greenville. Surviving: Wife; Sons: David, and his wife, Delores, of Wescosville; Gary, and his wife, Sandy, of Franconia; Richard Jr., and his wife, Sharon, of East Greenville; a daughter, Christine, wife of Brian Werkheiser, of Red Hill; a sister, Betty Pierce, of Red Hill; a brother, Roland, of Quakertown; 8 grandchildren (Sheri, Heather, Barbara, Bryan, Elizabeth, Eric, Rebecca, and Rich; and 9 great-grandchildren (Hannah, Bailey, Nathan, Alyssa, Ashley, Brandon, Erica, Natalie, and Kylie). He was pre-deceased by siblings: Kenneth and Lester Schuler, and Gladys Jacobs. Services will be at 11 AM on Friday at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville. A viewing will be from 7-8:30 PM on Thursday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg; and from 9:30-11 AM on Fridat at the church.
