Richard "Bruce" Ferketich, 73 of Green Lane, passed away in his home on April 5, 2026. Born on October 8, 1952, in Sellersville, he was the son of the late John Ferketich and Myrlyn (Moyer) Ferketich. For 49 years, he was the loving husband of Dawn (Kolb) Ferketich.
Bruce grew up working with his father at his auto mechanic shop. He became a skilled auto mechanic, dedicating his career to the auto repair industry at various car dealerships, retiring from Wilkie Lexus of Haverford. His work ethic and drive allowed him to help build his own house and he also spent time refurbishing his Toyota Land Cruiser. He took great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially playing Pinochle with family and friends. Above all, he loved his wife and cherished their yearly trips to Aruba for over the last 30 years.
Bruce is survived by his beloved spouse, Dawn Ferketich; sisters, Vickie Hess (Donald) and Judy Ferketich and many nieces and nephews. Bruce was preceded in death by his brother, Barry Ferketich and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cheria D. and Donald Kolb.
